70's Girl in a Modern World

The Little Miss Gypsy team had the absolute pleasure of sitting down and collaborating with local Perth bohemian queen, Bianca Roose. This is a woman who exhibits the carefree, inner beauty and freedom of a 70's girl in a modern world. Not only did she spark happiness in the room the moment she entered it, but she was more than willing to get behind our brand and represent us.  Here are a few things we learnt about her; making her truly stand out to us and what Little Miss Gypsy is all about. 1) She is inspired by Nature!  "Nature, the kindness of others and creativity. I'm very motived by the senses - homemade comfort food, smells and music that...

The Power of Women

With the recent International Woman's Day just past, I've been feeling quite inspired. Looking around at not only the amazing ladies in our office but also at the powerful and strong role models within the fashion industry, I can't help but feel pride. Behind the Scenes ~ How We Bring a Shoot to Life

One of our favourite parts of the shoot process and probably the most important - visualisation! We sift through a tonne of magazines, books and Pinterest boards looking for perfect imagery that feels in sync with the collection - this part helps inspire and really set the tone of the photoshoot.  Once we have the mood board ready, we seek out the perfect location to help bring our vision to life. For this particular shoot we visited the Gwelup Secret Garden in Perth. This perfect little place had all the beauty and magic we needed.  Natasha has sourced and collected so many props over the years. From vintage rugs to Indian fabrics, each piece has been kept and stored carefully for occasions like...

15 Minutes With ~ Rachelle From Wandering Fields

Rachelle thank you so much for catching up with us! To start with tell us a little bit about yourself. Well I am a mother, wife, business woman and a nurse and because of this I am usually very busy. However I like to be busy. I love hanging out with my family and going on road trips, to the beach or wherever with our little 70’s caravan that we did up ourselves. I am a spontaneous kind of person and I do love an adventure! What lead you to start your business? Can you tell us which pieces you’re loving from the LMG collection and why?  My sister and I had trouble finding free flowing feminine clothing, made for real sized women, so we decided that we must not...
